Habitica: Gamified Taskmanager App Reviews

This app and the website associated are simply the best productivity app ever ! Ive been using it for almost a year now, and it helped me far beyond what I was expected !

In other words, app is useless as of now.

I love this app and Habitica, I do. But... This update messed with things that were okay to me before. So it ruined instead of fixing. I used to hate the new layout; now I like it. I still prefer the old app thou. Ill give it five stars when Markdown is finally allowed. My tasks look horrible because most of them use markdown. And I have to go to the site whenever I create a new task, so I can move it. Thank you because the old app still allows me to edit the tasks and shows markdown decently.

The best "Gamefication" that I already saw in an App.

This app is interesting because it gives a different way (and funnier) to control your dailies and tasks. I personally liked being able to "build" some "habits". Try it. It can be fun. Cons: It can be buggy (but it is improving)

I cant seem to open the app again since the update. It tries to load then crashes to the main screen in a iPhone 4. :c

They go missing of the list after I click to buy them but they do not appear on my gear options neither cashes the coins

This is a really great application. Feeling great and working as expected. Developer is nice too. All apps on the store should be more like this. The quality of apps on this store has degraded horribly in the last years but this seems one of the few good ones. Thanks.

Its still quite a little bit to buggy.

I consider the habits I want to change private, so why do I need a login (presumably for a server) to use this app? Also, why is there no warning in the description that all the data will be uploaded somewhere? Thanks but no thanks. Will delete as soon as this review posts.

For developing new habits this app is very useful in a (gaming) fun way. Furthermore the online platform is very well integrated in this app. However, this app does need a login, but not your personal information. So dont worry bout your private data. :)

Improved my life dramatically.

The new redesign is beautiful

This app and the website are great! It is funny how long-term goals (the benefits of which are difficult to gauge) suddenly become way easier to achieve with this simple reward system. Will give 5 stars when offline performance is improved (e.g. being able to create tasks in offline mode) and the app is responsive without bugging.

Easy to use, intuitive, and finally a system where my friend are also involved, Its incredible this app is free, everyone should at least try it out. :)

The idea is quite nice and one can say it is a good thing to motivate yourself, but there are too many things missing in The App. You always have to Start your Browser. I would suggest that you can do some trading within your group. We motivate each other and I wanted to give a Party Member a hatching potion he needed. This would be quite nice

There are many good working apps for todo lists and tasks but they never kept me motivated to use them and did not have advantages over paper... Here it keeps me motivated with the gamepart and obtaining xp for tasks etc I can only recommend it even more if you were a friend of 8 bit graphics

Helps to find motivation, make plans and stick to them, and to feel rewarded every time you take a step to a better life. Cant imagine my day without this app.
